Red Sea 'Blockade' Sees Record-Breaking Paddleboard Sales

Reports indicate that the much-touted Houthi 'blockade' of the Red Sea has, in a shocking display of geopolitical impotence, devolved into what can only be described as a rather aggressive, albeit largely ineffectual, game of maritime tag. While headlines blare about global shipping interruptions, an astonishing 87% of vessels surveyed this week reported only 'minor inconveniences,' such as needing to activate their 'evasive maneuver' pre-sets, typically reserved for particularly aggressive pod of dolphins or an unexpected mid-ocean celebrity yacht party. Shipping magnates, initially apoplectic, are now reportedly considering rebranding the region as the 'Red Sea Adventure Corridor,' offering thrill-seeking tourists a chance to experience 'near-blockade' conditions from the safety of a specially-reinforced cruise liner. Analysts suggest the Houthis might gain more leverage by simply charging a 'scenic detour' fee, rather than their current, rather amateurish, 'stop-and-point-threateningly' charade.
